Hi,
Hi,
Our main application is running on a SCO Open Server Unix server. It's an
Informix database. In order to free up this server a bit and because the
application is running in text base format, we like to create a duplicate
database on a Win2k Server running SQL 2000. Is there a way to duplicate the
Unix Informix database on the SQL server and keep it up to date every night?
Do I use the Import/Export SQL utility? The new created SQL database doesn't need to be up to date like the Informix one because users who needs to connect to it don't need up to the
minute information but archived data like sales and purchasing.
So if it's possible to do that?
Thanks in advance.
